(visited by Gustavo Sperotto)

30-Dec-2002 -- Here in the south of Bahia we have maybe the most beautiful beaches of Brasil. Olivença, a beach-district of Ilhéus is a calm place, where we can do a good surf and see some girls.

I have driven in that road many times before, but never with a GPS in my hands. When a friend of mine told me about the confluence site, I take a look at the map we have here at work, but the confluence in the map shows the point at least a half-mile into the ocean. So that day, coming back into a job visit at Canavieiras, south of Olivença, I was not motivated, but I decided to turn on the GPS. Surprise... The confluence is about 10 or 12 meters from the main road, very easy to visit, so many times I cross too close that place.

I took some pictures, including the GPS full of zeros. Then I took a picture of Olivença, 1 mile to North, for everyone to see why a the start this text I mentioned the beautyness of the beaches here.

That´s it. Happy New Year.
