26-Oct-2002 -- Having looked at a map site, we found the N37 E140 (it's N36°59'48.9" E140°00'11.9" in the Tokyo Datum) is at the level land in Nasu area (Kuroiso city, Tochigi prefecture). We decided to try getting there as it looked relatively easy.

We hired a car at Nasu-Shiobara station of JR Tohoku Shinkansen. We were headed for the point with a hardcopy of the online map. We reached a place that was around 200m from the confluence. We parked our car at the roadside around there, and started walking toward the confluence. Guided by GPS and the map, we then reached a spot on the road that was around 70m from the confluence. From there, we got into a thicket or a crop field, and GPS showed "5m to go" soon. Although it took a while for us to get all the zero, we finished the hunting itself successfully and comparatively easily without any difficulties after we took pictures of four directions and ourselves.

Unluckily it was rainy skies on that day, however, we were able to pass a good holiday at a pension in Nasu highlands after the hunting.
