(visited by Olivier Servais)

02-Aug-2002 -- I visited this confluence on my way to Skopje, Macedonia via Romania and Bulgaria. This confluence is very close to the road leading to the ferryboat over the Danube (which I highly discourage to use due to very long delays and high costs). The location name is Basarabi as shown on picture #5. It is a small village, just about 100 meters away from the confluence.

The exact confluence point is on picture #1 (West view) right in the middle of the picture. This field is private property.
