25-Feb-2002 -- It was Monday and the kids have their first sportholiday. We had not planned anything special for this day, when I remembered the confluence project. We had a confluence about 100 km north of Bollnäs where we live.

I explained to the kids that we would get out and search something we could not see but it was there anyway.

I asked my partner Thomas if he will come along with us. He is very serious because he knows how important it is to have proper survival gear in the wilderness. We started about lunchtime and the weather was perfect.

When we reached the lake Älgeredssjön where the confluence was, we parked the bus.

Now we had a skiing tour about 950 meters on the lake before we got to the confluence. We marking the confluence with a ski pole. After taking the photos we got back to the bus and made a fire, so we could make coffee, pancakes and grill hot dogs.

Tomorrow I must explain for my children what we have done.
