25-Mar-2002 -- This is our first trip to visit confluences in Norway although we know the country already from the waterside by sailboat. Going to the middle part of the country we take ski with us which is very helpful to reach the points most of the times. Because of spring almost arriving there, we can sleep in our car throughout the hole journey. This part of Norway is not very crowded but you can find always a "hytte" (mountain cabin) to spend the holidays wherever you look around. The rivers are filled with clear tasty water to provide us with a stock of cooking and cleaning water. ( body and dishes - brrr, cold )

The GPS shows us just 2 km direct way from our start point to the confluence. This should be an easy one to get but you never know until you have walked through ! The environment is uneven and sometimes steep so that we have to unbuckle our ski and climb from time to time. Nevertheless we make it and even the way back although is it now going downwards most of the time which becomes worse in the slippery snow than the way up.
