03-Mar-2002 -- On Sunday March 3rd a group of four full sized people plus a little one decided to visit the N40 W4 confluence. The weather kept us company; it rained and was very windy.

We arrived to Cabañas de Sagra at around noon, we continued through highway M-40 until the detour towards Yunclillos, we turned and just before we reached town we made another turn, to the left, where the signs pointed towards Bargas. In a little more than 2 kilometers we arrived to the point that I had previously marked as the closest one to the confluence from the road; coincidentally, just at that point, a dirt road followed to the left. We took that road and in a few minutes we where at 150 meters from the point of confluence, we stepped out of the car.

The confluence is inside an arable farm that seemed recently worked on. The rain was intense and the wind caressed us, but being so close we could not go back without touching that point. The umbrella flipped out on several occasions before we reached the point, it was raining sideways, it was almost impossible to mark the zero point, it was very difficult to take pictures, holding an umbrella that could not stop shaking, a digital camera that we were struggling to keep from getting wet, and a GPS that refused to mark zero.
