#1: 180° View of the confluence

(visited by Adrian Vargas, Alexander Vargas and Lilleana Cespedes)

19-Aug-2001 -- With the advise of a friend Jose Pablo Alpizar and taking 20 minutes trip from the city of San Jose in a rainy day, we found this easy access confluence.

The confluence is located in the city called El Rodeo de Coronado, 15 Km north east of the Costa Rica’s biggest city, San Jose. The confluence point is barely 3 meter outside the paved road, just near of some little houses (its possible that these people didn't realize what the word confluence means).

Very important is to setup your GPS with wgs84 datum because the majority of Costa Rica maps use nav27 datums with 50 meters of variation.

A few meters away you can find a beautiful sights of crop fields and small farms around the Barba volcano, Irazu volcano and the central valley of Costa Rica.

If you visit Costa Rica and you like to mix the technology with the nature, take 30 minutes to visit this place.
