01-Mar-2020 -- This Confluence Point lies near a cluster of graves, near village Badakalakote, on the Gunpur – Gumma road, 28 Kms from Gunupur, in Rayagada District. Leaving Rayagada at 0900h, we reached the spot by 1130h. The going till Gunupur is smooth. However, the last 28 kms on hilly, winding roads is tough. There is no traffic and villages are few and far between. There is no mobile network in this area and one has to rely on good old fashioned Map Reading skills and use of the GPS. However, once we are close, this spot is easy to locate, around 50 meters on the east of the road, barely 100 metres away from the hill slope and undulating hills on the other side of the road, on the west. I visited this point on 01 March 2020.
