15-Aug-2017 -- This is my 3^rd visit to this CP, Michael's second. See here for the previous visits:

After our visit to Poland, and before heading off to Salzburg, we decided to visit a friend in Mörbisch on the edge of the Neusiedlersee. Instead of heading directly to Mörbisch on the west side of the lake, we decided to circumnavigate (if that's the correct word) the lake in a clockwise direction. With this plan in place, it was pretty obvious that we could visit 48N 17E on the way.

An uneventful trip found us near the CP about 2:15 p.m. and the only uncertainty was whether there would be crop in the field or we would have to photograph the CP from the distance. Indeed there was no crop and we were able to go right to the "all-zeroes spot".

It took just a few minutes to get to the CP, and with the necessary photos taken, we were off again within 25 minutes around the lake and to some wine tasting in Mörbisch.
