22-Nov-2015 -- On Saturday 21/11/2015 we were touring the rural area of Campos Dos Goytacazes (an important municipality in the North of Rio de Janeiro) and approximately noon arrived at the seaside resort of Farol de São Tomé. A flood prevented us from that day trying to reach the confluence.

To the day following (22/11) we decided to make a second attempt. We cover the journey to the town visited the day before, where the high red lighthouse that gives it its name dominates the landscape. You can also appreciate helicopters back and forth for the transport of personnel of many oil platforms that are off shore.

Following towards the North the road of the coast by some 7 kilometers arrived to a neighborhood in way of development, with streets of sand, some of which were being paved. Driving along a street boundary between the district and a field of thorn bushes officiating we arrived at a gate, which is closed to vehicular traffic, but with a pedestrian passage. Of the other beside of the gate is opened a street with signs of being busy by transport heavy. Follow this road by approximately 1 km and then us deep in the forest, something closed, to get to them few minutes to the point exact of the confluence (not without more than one scratch produced by the vegetation of the place).
