27-Jun-2015 -- The starting point of the canoe trip in 2015 was the Grand Slam Fishing Lodge in Kinoosao, on the east side of the Reindeer Lakes, where I have met my friends Floyd and Marianne in summer 2008.

We, Lothar Pörtner and Christian Tessmer, wanted to padle around the lake in a northerly direction. The 102 ° West should the Confluence Point 58°N 102°W should be the northernmost point of our canoe trip. We arrived at it from the lake, 1.5 km away, across a former forest fire area. It was a relatively simple way.

Then we went in a southerly direction to Brochet, a nice and very clean Indian village. Here we were able to complete our supplies and send home a sign of life.

Reindeer Lake is a very good fishing lake. Lake trout, Northern pike, and Walleye were always on top of our menu list.

After 4 weeks and about 450 kilometers paddling with mostly very nice weather, we were able to enjoy the hospitality of Floyd and Marianne at Kinoosao.
