30-Dec-2014 -- On a brief Christmas vacation from the approaching winter in Norway to the southern part of Florida we found time for some confluence hunting. We should have gone for some of the more challenging confluence points, but with only one week available that was not possible.
We had a late start from Miami, had an easy drive across to the west coast and found the confluence point easily with the navigation program on the Nokia phone. We had brought a printout of one of the earlier visitors and approached the house close to the confluence point to ask for permission to enter their garden. Nobody was at home, only a barking dog. So we took the liberty of taking the required photos and left within five minutes.
Most of our visit to Florida had so far been to cities like Fort Lauderdale, Miami and Key West. This visit showed us another part of the state: a tidy and pleasant residential area.
Ps. The time on the Garmin is CET (Central European Time)
