03-May-2014 -- Confluence 23N 90E is located in a rice field 3.12km northwest of Kotalipara Upazila of Gopalganj District in Bangladesh. the landscape is rice field.

Bangladesh Adventure Club’s confluence mission’s members to this northwestern confluence in Bangladesh were Moshiur Khandaker, Nur Mohammad, Khandakar Shahinur Rahman and Mohiuddin Mahi

The confluence point is in Kotalipara which is around 19 km northeast of Gopalganj District. We started our journey on 3rd May 2014 from Rajshahi reached Tungipagra at 5:30pm. It is the birthplace of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Father of the Nation and founder of independent Bangladesh. We started for confluence point at 5:35pm by auto rickshaw from Tungipara to Kotalipara bazaar. The journey was about half an hour we reached the destination at 6:00pm.We started to walk through rice field following the direction on the GPS towards 23N 90E. After 12 minutes exactly at 6:12pm we reached the confluence point. The point was found to be in a rice field and we had to walk to find the degree confluence of 23N 90E with a GPS accuracy of 10ft.

It was a wonderful confluence experience. Eventually we made our 7th confluence point visit successful.
