11-Apr-2014 -- Confluence 25N 92E is located in a rice field near Fatehpur Madrasa of Lamapra village, Ward number one, Fatehpur union parishad of Gowainghat Upazila beside Sylhet airport road bypass road 2.5km south west of Horipur area and about 30 km north east of Sylhet City in Bangladesh. The landscape is rice field and land owner is Isa Mia former union parishad member.

Bangladesh Adventure Club’s confluence mission’s members to this northeastern confluence in Bangladesh were Moshiur Khandaker, Nur Mohammad, Khandakar Shainur Rahman, Mridha Shihab Mahmad and Ms Sadia Sultana. Also local villager Nurmondal, Jahir and Mahmud Mia were with us.

The confluence point is in Fathehpur which is around 30 km northeast of Sylhet City. We started our journey on 10th April 2014 from Dhaka reached Sylhet city at 8:30pm and overnight stayed at local hotel. We started for confluence point early in the morning by CNG auto rickshaw from Sylhet to Fatehpur bazaar. The journey was about an hour we reached the destination at 8:45am. We started to walk through rice field following the direction on the GPS towards 25N 92E.

After 15 minutes exactly at 8:59am we reached the confluence point. The point was found to be in a rice field and we had to walk to find the degree confluence of 25N 92E with a GPS accuracy of 10ft.

It was a wonderful confluence experience. Eventually we made our 5th confluence point visit successful.
