(visited by John Dag Hutchison)

18-Nov-2013 -- Going from S33 E116 was easy, but farther than the GPS indicated (94 km). By road it turned out to be almost the double of going north on road 20 via Pinjarro over to road 30 Albany Hwy southwards to Williams and then to the left up Naroggin road for about 8 -10 kilometer to a gate on the left side of the road with the name Carnegie.

At the end of the lane I came to a house, knocked on the door and was met by a very positive gentleman who had no objections to my approaching the confluence point. He remembered some people who had been there about ten – twelve years ago. He had put a steel rod in the ground at the spot where he thought the actual point was. But when I approached the confluence point my Garmin found the confluence point in a large bush about 6-8 m away. It was also very close to a field of oat, if I am not too wrong. Beyond the bush and the building next to it was a collection of rounded giant rocks.
