20-Jun-2013 -- After the visit of CP 58N 15E and a stop at lake Vättern in the small port of Hästholmen we continued our journey north in direction Örebro and Gävle. Near Åsbro north of Askersund we left the A50 for a short visit of CP 59N 15E, just 2 km west of the main road.

In a distance of 160 m to the CP we left the car in an entrance to a farm building and followed the track to the opposing farm for further approach. The CP is situated in the middle of a field and at this time of the year in the middle of growing forage crops. We did not want to disturb this delicate community and stopped our approach at 4.30 p.m., 107 m east of the spot, leaving our visit incomplete.

Anyway, we had to cover another few hundred kilometers today, so we took the photos of the area and after this break of 15 minutes we continued our journey.

Just one hour later, east of Örebro, a sign on the entrance to an alley convinced us to another small change of direction – of course, we had to follow this “Swedish Malt Whisky Trail” to find out, what was hidden at the end of the alley (have a look on the photos!)…
