19-Feb-2012 - We left San Miguel de Tucumán to the city of Salta.

It is extremely important to find out first if it rained in the area, so I made a phone call one day prior to the service station of Rosario de la Frontera, where we were told that the route was in good condition.

Previously studied the map and saw that to reach 26°S 65°W it was necessary to deviate from Route 9, bound for La Candelaria.

The entire route is gravel and is able to be driven at 70 kph. The section Ceibal - Rosario de la Frontera is pretty lonely.

Thanks to the GPS stopped the car as close to 26°S 65°W, in a few minutes crossed a small fence (it is private property) and walked 30 meters until I arrived at the site.

While the area is forested, vegetation is not closed. It was exciting to see when the GPS showed many zeros together.

I discovered this project by a challenge of geocaching , so I took the opportunity to hide a cache.
