06-Jul-2011 -- Well, not been here for quite a while, but I didn't realise that it is only three weeks short of a year since my last visit. Time to put that right.
It is Thursday today and the British F1 Grand Prix is on at Silverstone this weekend. That means that most of the roads within 10 miles will be closed and the main A43 will be made into a car park.
I decide to detour past here before the roads get ridiculous.
Park up at the usual place, in front of the gates to the farm opposite the field. It is still up for sale.
Unlike my last four visits, this time there was no flock of sheep, or herd of young bulls to keep me company. Can't say I missed them.
As I didn't have much time to spare, I just took the required pictures and headed off back home via Silverstone. People were already camping in the fields and I managed to get a picture of the new "wing",apparently is is supposed to look like a car, but I don't see it myself.
