#1: General view of Confluence

(visited by Abdul Karim Khadim, Ahmed Ali and Mohammad ayoob)

30-May-2010 -- As told earlier I am an engineer by profession and involved in construction business. We are constructing a bridge over river Indus between Larkana and Khairpur. Khairpur is my hometown and I have my project office,as well,at Khairpur. I was on my routine project visit and after that I planned to go by road to Karach and do this confluence on the way which was in my mind since long. So after visiting the site we started our journey to village Nandha Sita, along with my son Engr Ahmed Ali and my driver Moahammad Ayoob, via Indus highway. It took us around three hours to drive from bridge site to village Nandha Sita. After reaching the village we headed to confluence point which was around ten kms from village in river bed.

River was dry in those days and confluence point was on dry land. The path in the direction was "jeepable" and there were villages or houses around. While traveling to the point we felt it was dangerous to travel as we did not find anything except a small hut on the way. Anyhow we reached the point and drove our jeep thru agricultural lands of Katch area to the exact location. Took the necessary pics and started our journey to Karachi.
