02-Dec-2010 -- We departed Wednesday 23:15 01 December to Ica, where we later took a second bus towards the city of Nazca.

We arrived in Nazca at 07:00 Thursday day and had breakfast immediately and look a taxi that would lead approximately to 18 kilometers South, where is located the confluence S15W75.

José Chávez, my hunting partner stopped a cab - of course I retired from the view of the taxi driver to avoid excesses of fare for transportation by my phenotype i.e. European tourist with money. The taxi driver agreed to lead us to Chauchilla, the closest town to the confluence.

The taxi driver, a young man who later we would know it would be a real expert of Nazca culture, was initially presented very seriously, and almost rude when changed you the "flight plan", i.e. when I told him "Sir, rather than leaving us at Chauchilla, what you we could carry two miles beyond the entrance to the necropolis of Chauchilla and left lying on the road?". Boy, annoying, and perhaps scared by the fools who had mounted on his taxi replied "Yes" without much mood, perhaps because not had no choice but to support us in his car, which meant to lead us to continue asking barbarities like: "best leaves us but hide the vehicle, we expect ten minutes and then return us to Nazca." No, better not, better you do the confluence hunting with us and then we carry the necropolis. The guy accompanied us in search of the confluence, thing that does not cost much since we stopped a few 10 meters from the target point.

Finally, we hunt the confluence at just 3 meters from the edge of the South Panamerican Road. At site we found that earlier hunters had marked the place with a mound of rocks. This group of stones can be seen in the pictures.

Having fulfilled the mission, we went with the boy already available and super nice to know the spectacular necropolis of Chauchilla, - located just ten kilometers from confluence - an expression of the cosmogony and relationship with the deities of Nazca culture, eternized with their Mummies and burials still intact.
