06-Июля-2006 – Это пересечение находится в одном из красивейших мест Горного Алтая, а может и России, – в долине реки Чулышман, впадающей в Телецкое озеро. Просто потрясающие места. Дважды я пытался достичь цели, в 2006 и 2008 годах, но пока безрезультатно. Не хватало времени, неподготовленность физически и психологически компаньонов (а одному – опасно, так как есть вероятность встречи с дикими животными, в том числе, с медведем). Посещение этой точки требует тщательной подготовки. Есть два варианта подхода. Первый – по руслу горной речушки Кендир, состоящей практически из водопадов (попытка Александра Лобанова и его друзей весной) но только зимой, когда вода замерзнет. Второй – летом, придется подниматься в гору кое-где с веревками (перепад высоты до 800 метров), обогнуть ущелье и где-то спуститься к точке. Такой же путь обратно. Возможна одна ночевка. Удачи. 06-Jul-2006 – This confluence is located in one of the most beautiful places in the Altai Mountains, and perhaps Russia, – in the valley of Chulyshman river flowing into the Teletckoye lake. These are simply stunning places. I tried to reach the goal twice, in 2006 and 2008, but to no avail. I had no enough time, my companions were no good prepared (either physically or psychologically). To go alone is rather dangerous because there is a chance to meet with wild animals including a bear. The visit of this confluence requires careful preparation. There are two ways to approach it. The first way is the bed of a mountain stream Kendir consisting almost of waterfalls (that was an attempt by Alexander Lobanov and his friends in the spring'04). I think this way is possible only in winter when the water freezes. The second way (for the summer) is to climb the mountain (maybe using ropes somewhere, so the elevation drop is 800 metres) round the gorge and find the path to descend somewhere to the confluence point.
