19-Jun-2010 -- After the successful visits to 61°N 26°E and 61°N 25°E I drove on to the last confluence of the day, a point that I knew would almost certainly be an attempt only, since it is located in the middle of a lake, more than 100 m from the closest spot on dry land.
Since it was a beautiful Saturday in June, I was hoping I would find some people boating in the lake and that I could persuade them to give me lift, but the lake area turned out to be totally deserted, so an attempt it was.
After this final visit I went on to the Jukola relay, it was almost as much fun as on the previous years, but the terrain was much, much more difficult, with very dense vegetation in many areas and steep hills all over the map, many of which we had to climb up and down.
Here is a link to my race, Jukola 4th leg, my team Tyrving 3 ended up in the top 200 out of more than 1500 starting teams, while our first team managed a top 6 position which was a new club record!
