(visited by Heiko Frenkel and Christian Schulz)

21-Feb-2006 -- After a jungle trip close to Yurimaguas we decided to visit this confluence point which is quite close to Moyobamba.
We asked a mototaxi driver to get us north of Moyobamba just a few kilometres. He must have thought what are these crazy Gringos going to do out there? We asked him to pick us up again in about 2 hours.

From the street we had to head just West for some time, passing a meadow where we had to climb a little fence. Getting closer to the confluence point the bushes were getting higher and denser, so we had to give up 62 metres East to the confluence point at South 6º 00.000' West 76º 59.966'. I made the required pictures there and thought until today that we didn´t get close enough. Now I read that 100 metres are close enough for a successful visit.

The visit is almost 3 years ago but I can still remember it like it was just yesterday. So here´s my story... ;)
