21-Jun-2008 -- We came, we tried, we failed.

After camping up the first night we pushed on the next day to the point. Tracks that had appeared on maps and on Google Earth simply were not tracks anymore. With a total of 6 flat tyres, 1 broken side window, numerous bits of vehicle trim lost and 1 vehicle recovery, we can attest to the fact that this point is going to prove VERY hard to get to.

We will not let that put us off and are planning to return for another assault soon.
