06-Mar-2008 -- This is the 12th of a series of 83 confluence visits during our voyage from Nigeria to Europe and back to Nigeria around the entire African continent. It all started on 28 January at 11N 5E.

Story continues from 8N 1E.

We have been a couple of days in Ghana visiting the Wli waterfall near Hohoe and relaxed afterwards a few days at Atimpoko at the expansion waters of the Akosombo Dam at the Aladi beach resort. It was a fantastic camping site and we felt very heart sore to leave this peaceful place and the pleasant company of Adi, the owner.

On our way to Accra we were in the vicinity of the confluence 6N 0 and after an hour we had managed to park our vehicle 80 meter from the Confluence. We made the necessary documentation and continued our journey to Accra and then further along the coast past Cape Coast and Takoradi to Busua and Dixcove where we spend a fantastic time just relaxing on the beach.

Continued at 5N 2W.
