#1: General view of area

(visited by Tibor Piroth and Goesta Assmann)

25-Mar-2007 -- We tried to approach this confluence point from the East and from the West. However, this confluence point lies in the middle of the jungle, in a mountainous area difficult to negotiate. After trying for several hours to find a way through dense forest we had to give up. Temperatures were raising above 30 degrees and we had to head back to Bangkok. The confluence point lies northeast from the place where the pictures were taken. On the way back, we met some Karen people with transport elephants.
