19-Oct-2006 -- On a quick trip to the Seattle area I had a few hours free on Thursday morning, so I drove out in the drizzling rain towards the closest confluence.
After about 35-40 minutes from Bellevue, my Garmin Quest indicated that I was less than 100 m from the point. I stopped the car and went out in the rain to see if I could get any closer wihout getting too wet, or passing into any posted areas.
I parked on the side of a small intersetion, and quickly discovered that one of the two private properties that started here was for sale. This would have given me an excuse for walking up the driveway, but unfortunately this was the wrong property: The left-hand drivway was still posted with a couple of NO TRESPASSING signs, just as the previous visitor noted.
Walking all the way up to one of the signs, I made it to 53 m away from the point, which I decided was sufficient in the typical Seattle weather.
