I had to give up my motorcycle trip to Ali Tibet last summer after I sustained an injury before I reached Tibet. For this summer I decided to visit Inner Mongolia by bicycle. Before staring out I found from the internet some confluence points can be reached along the trip.
We cycled back to Guyang county after sight-seeing at Wudangzhao, the Mongolian Tibetan Buddhist Temple. To find the CP, we started from Guyang heading for Chaoyang by bike. The map indicated that this point should be around 10 kms southeast of the city and situated exactly on the way from Guyang to Chaoyang, about 1 mile away from the road.
After 4 kms riding along county highway X074 out of Guyang, GPS indicated this point lied 1km northwest on the right side of the road. The point is located at a wide open river bed; we found it quickly. We made pictures on a sunflowers patch which was near northern part of the point.
