16-May-2006 –The adventure comes from N52 0.

We continue our confluence hunting tour going only by secondary roads to have a better scenery. We arrived to CP area and Gordon parked his car practically on the E1 meridian.

The CP is on wheat crop field mostly in the back part close to another tractor track this one on parallel N52, so to do not cause damage on it we decided to go around the field by the edge to approach the back sector. We passed by huge holes made by rabbits, that if I see such thing in Venezuela I start to run because it is pretty similar to caves made by snakes.

In few minutes we were doing the wonderful “Confluence Dance” and following the usual pictures. Neither this time I succeeded in activate WAAS, so the precision was the standard 5mt. This CP it located at 49 masl.

We returned to the car and now the idea was to go to Stowmarket by the shortest way in order to take our train back to London. Gordon following his Satnav instructions were doing ok up to when we arrived to a road blocked by some maintenance work in a new suburb area. He made a large detour but soon we arrived to Stowmarket rail station.

In few minutes out train arrived, we said goodbye to Gordon, who continue a long trip back to his home. Finally we arrived to Liverpool Street Train Station in London at 7:30 pm after an excellent triple confluence hunting tour on the English countryside. Thanks you Gordon for all your hospitality and help. My son and I spent a great day with you, knowing a little bit of the beautiful English countryside. I hope to have the opportunity to return to you the same any time you stay in Venezuela.
