29-Jun-2005 -- DESPUES DE GUATRACHE

29-Jun-2005 -- AFTER GUATRACHÉ
We were in Guatraché. After the barbecue due to the end of the works in the Secondary 1 of the Aqueduct of the Colorado River, Juanpi and me would have to go to Cuchillo Co for labour reasons. Meanwhile we went to there, we realized that we would pass very near of the confluence S38 W64, which was visited by others in the past but it could be another capture for us, specially for Juanpi would be the first.

Then we decided to take a small break for attempting it; the background read in the web indicated that the goal wasn’t difficult, except the peasant in charge of the ranch wouldn’t allow to access.

First we did the habitual surround around the field where the confluence is inside but the result was to arrive at 1 km of it. Then we went into the field “La Esther”, which have a very beautiful rural landscape; we arrived at the the farmhouse at 650 meters of the confluence. We looked for people and when we found them we asked the permit for access using a copy of the web page wrote by the first hunter. They remembered it and immediately permitted us to go to the confluence. We used the vehicle to approach a little and then we walked 500 meters to the desired intersection. The landscape was equal when the Visit #1.

I am accustomed to the feel of staying over the cross of meridian and parallel, but Juanpi was very enjoyed of his first hunting.

We celebrated with an embrace, took the photographs and returned to our work after thanking to the peasant in charge of the ranch for his help. Only one hour was necessary for this visit.

PD.: Atilio: You missed this confluence. !!!!!!!!!!!
