06-Jul-2002 -- Adding the first point in Greenland: ... We hopped onto two snowmachines after hooking up a sled with survival gear, set the GPS to guide us and just hit the great white open. It took us an hour, and we nearly ran over the point. Points look quite similar to one another up here. On our way out there, streets of stratocumulus clouds painted the snow surface in zebra patterns. On our way back, a surface halo accompagnied us to our right. It was a great trip...
