17-Sep-2021 – Punkt 53°N 15°E jest czternastym punktem osiągniętym w ramach wrześniowej wyprawy wakacyjnej – poprzedni zdobyty punkt to 54°N 15°E. Ten punkt niepokoił mnie najbardziej jeszcze przed wyjazdem.

Następny punkt to 53°N 16°E.

17-Sep-2021 – The confluence point 53°N 15°E is the fourteenth point reached as part of the September holiday expedition – the previous CP conquered was 54°N 15°E. This confluence bothered me the most even before I left. I couldn't decide how to reach it. It was not only about walking a few meters in the field, but also about safely parking the car. From the descriptions of my predecessors, I knew that they tried to reach them mainly from the south. However, I also knew that they were not happy with this idea mainly because of the terrain difficulties. I noticed two other possibilities in satellite photos and Street View. From the north, where you can leave your car in the parking lot in front of the forester's lodge, but the access is long (about 1,300 m) and on uncertain terrain. From the west side, the car could be parked in one of two bays on provincial road 156, from where access to the CP seemed to be easy along a dirt road, but also long, about 1200 m.

I decided to first look at the dirt road leading from the west. Once there, it turned out that the road was exactly the width of my car, at least at the beginning it is grassy. The agricultural fields on both sides of the road are located slightly lower, which gives hope that the road will not be muddy further on.

It was raining a bit that day, sometimes even a lot, so I was afraid of getting buried somewhere in the field or in the wet grass on this road. However, in a burst of impulse, I decided to take this road and drive as far as I could, knowing that in this way I would save a lot of time. needed for this confluence point, but at the same time risking that without the possibility of turning around, I will have to return this kilometer on a narrow road backwards. The risk paid off, at the end in the designated place (about 750 m from road 156) there was enough space to carefully turn the car around, although there was no moment of terror when the rear wheels of the unladen car began to spin on a grassy hill. After several attempts, we finally managed to put the car on a dirt road in a safe place, without the risk of the wheels sinking in or skidding on the grass, with the front facing back. Now I could only be in danger from agricultural vehicles that wanted to use this road while I was taking measurements in the field. Unfortunately, this time my luck with the weather turned against me, because in the meantime the sky became cloudy, a cold wind blew and rain poured from the sky.

Despite this, I almost ran to the place indicated by GPS, about 350 m away. There were no problems crossing the stubble, although unfortunately the wet grass, crop residues and rain soaked me completely from head to toe. I stabilized the measurements (my prayers were answered in heaven, because almost immediately I obtained a bearing of the 0/0 point with an accuracy of 2 m) and shivering in my wet clothes, after taking appropriate photos, I immediately returned to the car to reach the hard road as quickly as possible, where I finally lost my tension and the satisfaction from the unexpectedly quickly conquered point of 53°N 15°E returned.

The next point is 53°N 16°E.
