20-May-2026 -- Auf der Rückfahrt von einer Dienstreise musste ich die Autobahn A 70 aus Würzburg kommend in Richtung Kassel nutzen. Kurz entschlossen bogen wir auf die Bundesstraße B 26a ab und fuhren von dort weiter über die Staatstraße in Richtung Schwebenried weiter, dann über eine asphaltierte Nebenstraße wo wir bei einer Waldhütte das Auto abstellten. Über ein kurzes Stück Feldweg konnten wir auf ein Feld in Richtung Confluenzpunkt gehen. Da ich schlecht vorbereitet war, hatte ich kein GPS-Gerät dabei und musste den Punkt mit einer Handy-App orten, was einige Mühe machte. Trotz leichten Nieselregens besuchten wir auf der Rückfahrt auch noch das CP-Denkmal.

On the way back from a business trip, I had to take the A 70 motorway from Würzburg towards Kassel. On the spur of the moment, we turned off onto the B 26a federal road and continued from there along the state road towards Schwebenried, then along a tarmac side road where we parked the car by a forest hut. After walking a short distance along a dirt track, we reached a field leading towards the confluence point. As I was ill-prepared, I hadn’t brought a GPS device with me and had to locate the point using a mobile app, which proved rather difficult. Despite a light drizzle, we also visited the CP-monument on the way back.
