25-Jul-2023 – Chisinau is a charming city. Lots of old buildings which indicate a great past with old and more recent history. The Russian poet Pushkin lived here for a couple of years in his youth. A small museum in his little house is worth visiting. But some of the old soviet apartment buildings are also there.
Moldova has a long wine cultivating tradition and on our way to the confluence point we visited a winery with some careful tasting of their outputs.
With the help of Google map we arrived on a rather bumpy road close to the confluence point. Getting out of the car was a hot experience, temperatures around 36 centigrades.
With the heat and a lot of thorny shrubs we settled for registering our visit from the road. The photos are therefore not very good.
PS. The date and time on the Garmin is wrong. I have not succeeded correcting it.....
