19-May-2017 -- We were on our way from Toronto to Milwaukee using the ferry from Muskegon across Lake Michigan. The route follows 43N for a lot of the way. We left early to avoid holiday traffic and delays at the Canada/US border, so had lots of time to fill in a couple of points before going to the ferry.
I have now visited 9 CPs on 43N - maybe I should go all the way west to Oregon and east to New Hampshire one day and mop up a few more... and then maybe to Spain and head east to Vladivostok, hmmm!
Anyway back to the present. This point is just about 75 metres north of the road, so Kate qualified by sitting in the car! I walked across the field to the point with no excitement. Rough grass was growing - looks like no crop is planned for this year - although maybe soy bean will be planted.
No trouble getting the zeroes - then off west along M-21 to catch 43N 85W.
