26-Jun-2011 -- After studying the map we realized that this CP is only 60 km (about 1 hour by taxi) away from our hotel in Xingtai, so we decided to visit the CP the next Sunday. Starting at 1:00 pm from the hotel it took us more the 20 minutes to explain the taxi driver where we want to go. Without the help of the English-speaking receptionist and without the detailed printout of the map we would never have achieved our goal.

It was very hot but the car ride to the final destination was without any problems. Fortunately we found the last small road branching off the main street. At the first glance we couldn't even recognize a road. We went by car along small farms until my GPS showed data with almost no deviation to the coordinates we wanted to see. The last 10 minutes we walked towards "our" coordinates until we reached the CP.

The point is in the middle of an agricultural field of plants I do not know. In the north east of the CP there the small farms. The rest of the panorama shows plain area with trees in a row and beds of sunflowers.

We went back home to our hotel the same way we came. One open question is still remaining: What was the taxi driver thinking about us? Three foreign people want to be taken to a secluded place where they are taking pictures of the soil. We will never disclose the secret.
