(visited by Ross Finlayson)

10-Jul-2023 -- While driving from Albuquerque to Taos, I made a short detour to visit the Santuario de Chimayo (which I found interesting, even as a non-religious person), and then this easy Degree Confluence Point, which lies just North of the small town of La Puebla. I parked at a pullout across the road from a dry creek at [35.99579,-105.99852], and then hiked northwards, along the creek bed. I knew that I’d eventually have to leave the creek bed to hike up a hill, and I was a bit apprehensive about this, because I know, from experience, that this often involves a steep, strenuous hike. In this case, however, the hike up the hill was quite easy. All I had to worry about were some rocks, and several cactuses. The point lies near the top of a ridge (which has an ATV track running along it),

Here is a remote-controlled aerial video of this confluence point.
