During the New Year's celebration, my son Ricardo tells us to go to a very touristic town in Tennessee called Gatlinburg, which is in a mountainous area. We prepare travel for this day and when I check my map and GPS I discover that practically on the road along the I40 are 2 confluences very easy to visit with very little detour.

We left home early after the light breakfast, with a tenuous rain and about 50°F. We take I24 east, pass on one side of Nashville and continue on our way east on I40. The rain still persisted but after about 60 km from Nashville the bright sun came out and the sky ran out of clouds as I had read in the weather forecast.

I leave I40 Crossville at exit 320 and take Genesis Rd north, reaching the confluence in less than 3 km. I get out of the car with the equipment and discover that the confluence is right on the wire fence of the property, and the thorny shrubs Joseph the previous visitor found were cut off. I take the required photos and continue our journey. The confluence is at an elevation of 544 meters above sea level.

Christmas confluence hunting continues at 36°N 84°W.
