In the Khūrān Strait, approximately midways between mainland Iran and the large island Jazīreh-ye Qešm. Water depth is only about 7 m, as the Confluence is lying close to a shoal called Bostānū West Bank. To the North is the entrance to a large and newly constructed harbour. The tip of the harbour's southern mole is the closest point of land to the Confluence, 4.2 km away. |
