(visited by Abdul Karim Khadim, Ghulam Kasim, Ahmed Ali, Afaq Hyder Shah, Amjad ali, Mohammad Iqbal and jamil Ahmed)
14-Jul-2007 -- I arrived in Karachi on 10th July evening. On 11th July during lunch in office it was agreed to go for holidays in Thar desert in south east Sindh and also visit all the confluences coming in that region. My two sons Ahmed, Amjad and my nephew Afaq shah also decided to join. I talked to my friend Kasim in Khairpur regarding this program he also was enthusiastic to join in this expedition. I flew to Khairpur on 12th July and visited my Bridge Project. It was decided that we should take two vehicles keeping in view the hard area. Myself and my friend Kasim left Khairpur on 13th July at 3.45pm in Toyota Parado jeep and Toyota Vigo as spare jeep following us. We were going to Nawabshah for over night stay where my sons and nephew Afaq were to join us. We reached Nawabshah at 7pm. Afaq shah and my sons were already present there who drove from Karachi to join us. We stayed in Nawabshah at Afaq's home and had a very delicious dinner prepared by Afaq's mother (my sister). We had our tea at 6am and left for Sanghar. After Sanghar we took Sanghar-Sindhri road and followed a link road to confluence point. We arrived at 600 meters from confluence point at about 7-45am. We parked our vehicles on the road as the confluence point was in cultivated agricultural land. When we were about 200 meters from the confluence point we saw the male and female farmers working in the land. Keeping in view the local traditions we stopped and called the male member to come. He came to us and we told him our purpose of visit and seek permission to go to his land and requested him to tell the female farmers to go to their home for a while. He was very cooperative and joined us and we reached confluence point conveniently. After reaching the pint we took necessary pics and thanked to the owner of land. After successful visit of this confluence we started our journey to next confluence 26N 70E.
