10-Nov-2008 -- We arrived at this confluence point shortly after sunset on 10 November 2008. As usual the light faded very quickly, so it was not possible to take the required pictures. I persuaded my partners to camp between some small dunes nearby and return in the morning of the next day to complete the ceremony.

The point is now marked with a small wooden pole, left over from oil explorators, which litter the desert in numbers, and some circular tracks around it. The site lies unspectular in a flat sarīr plain consisting of fine gravel with sandy patches, easy to drive.

To bag it meant only a small deviation on the 500 km direct offroad route from Zilla to Tāzirbū. From the camp we could already see the lights from Tāzirbū, 36 km to the South, in the night.
