15-Sep-2006 -- Truong Son is a legendary trail in the history of Vietnam. During the Vietnam War, this was also the most fierce battlefield with millions tons of bombs which brought away the lives of millions people. Not only being a furious battlefield, Truong Son is also a chain of mountains along Vietnam with primeval forests of thousands years old.

After the trip to Ba Na (16N 108E ) with a point in Truong Son trail, I decided to come back and visit some other points also in this trail. Starting our departure at 3 pm, we reached Anh Son and stay over night here. Next morning, we went along high way 7 to look for the point 19N 105E, when the gap was 4 km only, we turned from the main road to a small asphalted road and reach a port. GPS showed that we were only 2km far from the point. However we cannot pass the river by car. We came back to Anh Son town and went on a chain bridge to pass the river with the hope that we could reach the point of 19N 105E quickly. However, it was difficult for us to go by car on the road on the other bank of the river; we lost 2 hours for being busy with looking for the way to reach the point but were still 5 km far from the point. Finally we decided to come back to the port and pass through the river.

The Lam River flowed very gently. After passing the river, we decided to walk through a rice field toward the direction of GPS. After passing the field, we came in a small village and the point 19N 105E is on a rice field near a lane. We reached the point at 12am. Some pupils observed what we did and asked us about this intersection point. When going back, a village man took us on his motorbike to come back to the port. We went on our car and continued our trip toward southern direction, we had not decided which is the next point we would reach but finally and entirely randomly it was the point of 14N 108E.
