04-Sep-2004 -- This was my fourth attempt to make this confluence.
1)First try, traveling to Esquel Octuber 2003, almost there a big rain and wind storm, imposible to get there, I get as close as 6 km, over a nice dirt road.
2)Second try, same trip coming back,Octuber 2003, with not much light a flat tire, take mee too much time to change. This happend at 15 km from confluence.
3)Third try, March 2004, at about 3900 meters from the confluence we decided to turn over a dry brook, we move easly about 800 meters, trusted on the truck we drive only worried of some rocks and sand. I get stuck and couldnt get out form there, after trying a while a had to walk 16 km to ask for some help. I was finally taken out at 2oclock in the morning. We turned back very tired my wife and two sons.
4)Fourth try and success !!!

This time with Alfredo and Jorge we arrived and the same brook, this time also worried and cautious. We move ahead and had to stop at 2,600 meters form the confluence. There we had to walk, we arrived at the confluence that is at the border of "The Guanaco Sierra", a name gien after the animal of the same name that can be seen in the area. You can see a photo of them runing.
We marked the site with a rock. We had lunch there. We turned back on the vehicules, Alfredo almost got stuck and hit a very hard a rock, I went slowly and got stuck on the mud.
Again stuck as a few month ago, but this time with the help of Alfredo we could get out quite fast.
