16-Jul-2001 -- It was good dirt road from our previous attempt at 32S 119E south to 33S 119E. From Lake Biddy we headed east along the Lake Grace Norseman Road and stopped just 87 metres from the confluence. After climbing over two barbed wire (though luckily not electric!) fences, it was just a leisurely walk over the paddock to the point.
Due to the drought, many farmers seem to have decided not to seed at all this year, and the field was just stubble.
We drove back to Newdegate to ask about access to 33S 120E in Frank Hann National Park, then decided not to push our luck without a 4WD. However, a local told us about a shortcut through to Jerramungup and our third attempt for the day - 34S 119E.
