#1: Looking North

(visited by Doug Thompson, Chris Grieves, John Norman and Peter Norman)

12-Jan-2009 -- We did this confluence on the third day of a four day trip along the Holland track. We also visited Cave Hill rock, Sunday Soak and the Breakerways. We travelled in my son in-law Chris's landcruiser. Also in the party was Chris's mate Peter and Peters father John, on holidays from England.

Near Sunday Soak we found two lonely graves. We couldn't find the two tracks that lead from the old Hyden Norsman road to within 600m either side of the confluence. So we drove south down E121 for about 600m before we had to stop because of thick scrub. We then walked about 1.6k to the spot, leaving the car at about 1 PM it was about 34*C.It took about 1 hour 10 minutes for the return journey.
