20-Jul-2008 -- Returning from a fishing expedition to the reef, I diverted our return to Rosslyn Bay harbour to visit the confluence point. Unfortunately the weather was bleak, with clouds spoiling the normally spectacular outlook.

We were on board a 7.5 metre Haines Hunter "Forsea" with five persons visiting the site which is not on any normal return trip to Yeppoon as North Keppel Island causes skippers to take alternative lines toward the harbour.
