A topografia é plana a pouco acidentada.

26-06-2004 – Me (Marcos F. Ratke), my girlfriend (Mylla G. Silva) and my friend (Eduardo L. Cabral), left our city Rio Verde-GO at 09:00am heading for the confluence point. The road that we chose was a state road called GO-174, heading for Montividiu-GO.

After 45 minutes, we passed Montividiu and we proceeded in the road for Amorinopólis, still in GO-174. This time, in our planning, we included a satellite picture and a map of the path that allowed us to reach the confluence point faster than the first time.

In spite of the planning to be correct, we entered in a dirt road to the left, after passing a little sale store called “Cana Verde (Green Cane)”. Unhappily we were deceived, and we wandered even about 3 km off the point, we already got to see where the point was, however we didn't get to cross a swamp located between the point and us. Then we had to return and to proceed more 6 km in GO-174, we caught the next exit to the left heading for the "Armazém Barreiro". We proceeded for about 11 km and we arrived to 100 m of the point.

We noticed that the confluence point was located in a corn farm, the corn was ripe and ready for the crop.
It was almost 11:45am, we stopped the car and proceeded to foot for 100 m, we made a way in the cornfield and we arrived to the confluence. The GPS precision in the moment of the picture was 7 m and the altitude was 755 m. We took the pictures and we went back to car. We went back near to Montividiu to eat lunch and later we went to "Ponte de Pedra" (a tourist location in that area).

The native vegetation in the place is the “Cerrado”, in the summer soy; corn and cotton are the most cultivated, for the winter sorghum and corn.
The climate is tropical, with a very pronounced drought station, which takes from 4 to 5 continuous months, time that the vegetation loses its entire splendor passing of the green for a primrose. The rivers don't dry; they just reduce their flow. The soil is originally poor and acid. The depth of the soil (usually loamy) can reaches 20 meters, where could meet a great “lençol freático”. In spite of the continuous drought that it can reach the area, there is no lack of water and great part of the vegetables presents adaptations that allow their survival.

The topography is flat and a little bit uneven. It is located, however, very close to the “Serra das Divisões (Mountain of the Divisions)” (about 11 km) that is very uneven as can be seen in the satellite picture.
