Confluence nr. 5
On Monday, 8 January 2007 at 10:30, along our way back after visiting Jabal al-`Uwaynāt and after our last refuelling in Kufra, we left to Bazīma, an amazing oasis standing around a thermal water lake in the middle of the Erg of Rabyāna.

On the way we changed our direction in order to visit the intersection between parallel 25°N and meridian 23°E. This Confluence is just a few kilometres north of Kufra, close to the road leading to Zīġan. This one has a striking scenario as well, on a flat rocky barren Ḥammāda (rocky desert), where there's only one road: the one leading north.
