This Confluence was visited on the afternoon of 04 March 2008. It's situated roughly 100 km WSW of Rabyāna in a small dry riverbed and - thanks - not on top of the inaccessible rocky hills nearby. Tyre tracks indicated that somebody had visited the place before us. We were on the way from Rabyāna to Idhān Murzuq far west, driving cross-country. The surface in the lonesome area changed from sandy patches to sarīr plains, which are all easy to drive. |
