30-May-2010 -- Finally after several years, I could complete the squire. I'm happy now, even it was pretty far from my city.
In my short visit to Iran, I finally decided to visit the point 27N 54E, but since it was in another state (Hormozgān), it was pretty far from my home town (Avaz), and it was the worst season to visit Hormozgān, since it's hot like hell now.
But we made it, and that's good. Ahmed Saeedi accompanied me to start travelling from Avaz, at 8 a.m. We passed Arad, Lāmerd, Cigar, Aškanān, Ahel, Kemešk and so many other small villages till we reached the village of Gachūyeh. It was almost 1p.m. and the worst time to be out in the sun, even though it was windy, but it was a hot wind. So we tried to get to the closest point by car, we entered Gachūyeh and passed the streets until we were almost out of town and close to the mountains. We just had 650 meters more to walk, and it was really hard, since it was extremely hot at that time.
Finally after climbing some hills, we could reach the small valley where the point was on a slope of the valley. We called that valley a hell valley since it was really like hell.
In general, it was not so hard to reach to the confluence point, it's easy, but better to go in winter time. The area has an extremely hot weather in summer, and its almost dry. People in that area are kind and friendly. Roads, are ok, acceptable. People use to say in spring those areas are nice and beautiful, but I really do not wish to go back.
We had to drive 4 more hours to be back home, and we passed through Janāḥ-Bastak, Hormūd, Khōr, Lār, Gerāš before arriving back home at Avaz.
